So, Pieter had one simple task to complete and he failed at even that. Having fallen at the first hurdle, it's why he finds himself ass up on the bed, getting a paddling. He has to kneel and get a few swats like that, as well to keep him on his toes. Then he gets a cane set, as well, to finish things off. That's the best way to get a lad to realise that a mess is not acceptable.
